@tammany Such an unfortunate thing. If he was injured on that little jump, man that's just bad luck. He wasn't doing anything wrong. Not doing back flips or jumping off stuff just giving a fan a high five with a tiny jump.

leads me to believe it was already injured but Stephen didn't know.

@mrhighlife I am not going to to speculate more than already has been done, but that makes sense.

Any injury updates ahead of the game? I saw Cooper is expected to be back, but what about EJ Williams? Outside shot that Franke returns to make a 60 harder?

Anyone else?

@pisiem Cooper was basically full go, EJ was full go. We don't get to see specialists during practice so I dont know about Franke

I saw a tweet that Tyler Morris is practicing with the other receivers in Pasadena this week.  I wonder if he makes an appearance.

@thehoosierhuddle Sammy - have you heard anything re Morris and Catherine’s post above? I’m just curious how he’s coming along. Don’t see him as a legit option to play this season, but who knows? 🤷‍♂️

@the-watson I highly doubt he plays or is even cleared for contact yet, but when we saw practice he is going through drills.

@thehoosierhuddle another great thing about a deep run is giving young and injured guys a lot of extra practices. I’ll be interested to see if we see the benefits in the spring with our early enrollees having a far better idea of the expectations.

@evillehoosier8 Those are good points. I also want to see how it affects the spring calendar and winter conditioning. There is not a tone of recovering time.

any news on Franke? He was originally probably for Rose Bowl and then went to out.

@thehoosierhuddle What she says ^^^

Would be great to get him back at full strength for this run. Hate that there is a near total lid on injury & recovery news.

But Warren has little trouble reaching the end zone with his kicks. I was pleased with his kickoffs in the Rose Bowl.

Franke would be good to have back. Nailing that 58 yarder at Oregon was awesome.

Brendan Franke listed as out again. How did he go from probable on last week’s report to “out”? Did he tweak something again prior to the game? I was really hopeful he would be back.
