Almost any win vs. Illinois will be good -- despite their program brand they're a top-10 team. We don't have to look like 2019 LSU.
If IU and U of I both win this weekend, and the Illini remain in the top 10, we all know the immediate narrative after the game will be one of two things. If IU wins. Illinois is overrated. If IU loses, we are incapable of beating good teams.
At 61 years old, I'm truly fed up with all media reporting opinions and narratives rather than facts.
@iugradman I am not worried about the CFP. Illinois is a top 10 team. It's the Big Ten opener. Less than 10% of CFB teams make the playoff. It's not CBB where 68 of 360 teams make the NCAA tournament (18%).
Being bummed out if IU wins that game by less than two scores and calling them not good is certainly a choice.
I am not saying 'shut up and cheer', but there is a lot of room between not a 'truly good team' and playoff.
Just let things play out.

Line has moved to a current range of -5.5 to -6.5. Money is coming in on IU… hope it’s smart $.
@tammany That's a major jump. I grabbed it at -3.5 Sunday. Vegas probably knows something. Injury report may be interesting

Draft kings is now at Indiana -6.
Thank God I got in at -4.5. Also put in a little change on Hemby scoring a td at +105. Its moved a little to +100.
Certainly seems like Vegas knows something.
It's up to -6. We cover and then some.
I don’t feel great about these developments to be honest. When I see a line move so sharply like this I typically go the opposite direction and am successful 70 or 80% of the time. Think this will just be a moneyline game for me.
@tammany Line movement comes from sharp bettors, public money almost never moves a line
Line is currently at -6.5 IU, O/U at 52.5
YOTHN is confident!
Looks like ILL best CB Xavier Scott is out.
