@myteamisonthefloor Sneaking that what?
So far, Cig’s starting QB has not been on the prior year’s roster.
Cherry has walked a different path - and Coach has mentioned eventually having HS recruits as the foundation.
This will be Cherry’s third year “around” the program - he likely knows the system better than Rourke or Mendoza did on their first day - and he is physically nearly a clone of Rourke and Mendoza.
He may be Cig’s first homegrown Big Ten Champ QB.
Can’t wait to watch him - because I am usually critical of Indiana high school phenoms, and he has a different feel to me.
@myteamisonthefloor Josh Hoover is QB 1. Cherry is working with the threes as of Thursday
I see we're being mentioned with the Croucher kid that committed to play QB for Kiffin at LSU.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@thehoosierhuddle Nice. I didn't know that. The start of the HS QBs being developed instead of relying on the portal?

@hooky maybe, but anything more than 9 months down the road is unknown. You will probably need a portal QB after this year.
@janitor14 practice 5 was Saturday. Practice 6 was this morning. I’ll have the report out after taking my kid to the dentist

I'm sure Purcell is hoping he is the start of that. Probably looking at transfer starters the next couple years though cause Cigs doesn't seem to want to risk the position on the youth.
