The INDIANA Hoosiers are back in the spotlight but this time it's thanks to one of the newest additions under center, where Fernando Mendoza made a surprising appearance near the top.
Mendoza is slotted at no.3 in the Big Ten QB ranking trailing only Allar, from PSU & Ill. Altmeyer. That's a bold call considering Mendoza hasn't even taken a single snap in the conference yet, but the buzz around him is building quickly.
Last season at Cal. Mendoza quietly put together a solid year. He stayed cool, didn't force much & learned from his mistakes.
The buzz hasn't slowed. It's not just numbers, it's how he plays. Mendoza processes fast, gets rid of the ball quickly, & doesn't panic when the pocket gets messy. And that's exactly what Curt Cignetti wants.
Mendoza is a dork in the same vein as Manning and Luck. I like that.

we are better than both of those teams quarterback systems. Who is the last NFL quarterback produced by those schools.... exactly...for the most part the top ranked schools in the B1G do not produce QB they produce O-lineman.....that even you or I would look NFL quality behind those lines.
