I'm afraid it could go up, so I'm jumping on it. Also thinking about taking the over at 48.5.
Should be a fun week.
Pretty sure Iowa will cover. One thing IU has not done under Cignetti is win on the road against good teams.

He's lost two games to both national championship teams last year.
He destroyed everyone else. I think he's got a pretty good shot at winning on Saturday.

He's 0-2 against great teams.

They're not very good.

I'm not a gamble, unfortunately. I could have made thousands just betting IU the last two years.
I like IU, but I'd stay away from the over.
Have to admit I am concerned about this one. IU coming off an impressive win at home on national TV, Iowa has not played well so far and this would be a huge win for them All adds up to a close game in my opinion. IU is clearly the better team, just hope the show it on Saturday.

Cig will have the team ready. The rough road atmosphere will have this teams attention to detail. Its highly possible USC beats Illinois this weekend and suddenly IU will again have no ranked wins. We have no room for errors against these teams, and we'll play like it.
@hoosierific I’m not. The Iowa secondary isn’t the same group as years past. Iowa has a really good o-line with a below average QB. He’s not very accurate. This will/should be a 14 point game. Now Iowa has a really good return/special teams. They are an average Iowa team.
Although I don't think Iowa's offense will generate much against IU's defense, playing the Hawks in Iowa City is always dangerous. If IU beats Iowa, I don't think there's a team not named Oregon or Penn State that can hang with the Hoosiers.
Anyhow, I see IU splitting Oregon/PSU and beating everyone else. Hence, 11-1. Hence, return to CFP. Hence, Mendoza holding a bronze statue in December.
We'd better buckle up and give our best effort:
2019 Iowa 23 - #8 Minny 19
2017 Iowa 55 - #3 OSU 24
2016 Iowa 14 - #2 Mich 13
2008 Iowa 24 - #3 PSU 23
GO HOOSIERS!
@cd2 yeah, that’s pretty impressive. And you gotta believe they think they can do it to us.
You can tell Cig knows it from his presser. Tough road game for sure.
Games like this are why I thought IU would go 9-3 this season. Although Vegas is a better indicator of the outcome than many so called expert picks.
