...but getting Kyle Whittingham was a grandslam hire for Michigan. I think he's going to return UM to eliteness, but I certainly hope to be wrong. They're projected to win 8-9 games this season with their biggest 5 games being Oklahoma, IU and PSU at home and at Oregon and tOSU.

I am just hoping he's a bit long in the tooth to be wildly successful. Even Cig didn't start the rebuild at 66. Of course, not really much of a rebuild at Michigan, it's almost built.
I have no doubt that will be a tough game for us even this first year, at their place. Good coach. They fell into the manure pit and came up smelling like roses.

I dont think Michigan is going to win 9 games, let alone 8. Big coach upgrade, sure, but their QB still stinks, they dont have a lot of depth across the board, and they lost more in the portal than they added. I just cant see them winning the heavy weight matchups when their offense (on paper) is so one dimensional.
I have them losing to OU, IU, OSU, and Oregon, and I think they probably drop at least one of Iowa, PSU and Minnesota. Any team that can shut down the run is going to have a good shot at beating them
