…since they struggled to beat Tennessee. Who is to say Tennessee is a good team? Who is to say Northwestern is a bad team. I say ranking and perception is built on history. That’s what we (and the B10) is fighting in the media and CFP selection. Basically, outside of Ohio State, no one not in the SEC gets credit. Oh well, keep winning I guess. It’s hard to vote against that.
Hopefully northwestern is better than expected. Hard to know. I don't think Illinois was as good as we thought last year. Just never know how far off teams are from their rankings/hype

IMO they might get to seven wins and take some of the sting off yesterday, but I doubt they get to nine wins or something that makes that win look good.
NW is definitely decent, but most of the issues are on our side.
