It really is very simple. If Sayin can't throw the ball, Smith has no effect on the game. Sack Sayin, sack the Buckeyes!
Also, throw in a lot of the Belichick method, used with great success against the Colt's Marvin Harrison. (And Reggie Wayne.)
Hold, hold, hold! Drape your arms right over the receivers shoulders play after play. Dare the officials to call it. If you are Belichick, they won't. Let's see if Cig gets that respect.
I think we'll get to Sayen... Enough anyway. That is the biggest key for sure.

Not sure with Belichick if it was really hold, hold, hold as much as it was legally knocking the receiver's blocks off when coming off the line of scrimmage. Having a safety or even a linebacker delivering a blow before passing off to a corner. You get 5 yards to rock them, and most receivers are not used to that at all.
I'm sure. 😎 Colts were wearing them like backpacks first couple playoff losses, then got a fairer game called when they won.
But yeah, some of each, they bumped and played ultra tight off the line.
I doubt we have the size or toughness to chuck Jeremiah, so let's just hold. LOL

Would be nice.
We sacked him five times last December. Just sayin.

Under Day, OSU's DBs have held a hell of a lot. I hope the game is called evenly in that regard.
Chuck em once, then chuck em again at the LOS.
Then either blitz, set the edge, or drop into coverage with eyes on their TE and RB dump offs and check downs.
Just got to communicate the hell out of it based on 6 lanes across the field.
Need to disrupt their offensive timing by 1-2 seconds for our rush to get home.
Frustrate, frustrate, frustrate till they show they solved it.
Wonder what Jeff Gillooly is doing these days...

A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"
How to stop Smith: Kidnap him before noon, release him around 3:30. Easy-peasy.
I hate noon games. Usually.
But a great thing about noon games, less waiting! I'm glad now that it's a noon game. 🤣
Let's GOOOOO!;
