The Colts could use nearly every one of those guys (I’m thinking specifically of the guys who went in the lower rounds and/or are fighting for a roster spot…), yet brought in none of them…
Which tells me the the Colts probably need a new GM and anyone else who’s currently evaluating talent over there… Actually, the drafting Richardson at QB move would have gotten anyone else, anywhere else their pink slips by now…
The good news is that we probably won’t be competing for fans with them once again this season…
Jeanty went down with a knee yesterday. I haven't seen an official update, but he was carried off. Hopefully, Hemby can take advantage of a bad situation and make the team. Last RB depth chart I saw didn't have him on it.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@hooky Heard it was an ankle injury and not the ACL that was being speculated
Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle
Calling it an ankle sprain now. So sounds not as awful.
I hope he has a good career, but I still find it very strange when a team needing a full rebuild starts their build with a running back... Jeanty was trying to run behind a swiss cheese line last year. At least they are working on that line a bit since.
I didn't like the pick. He didn't seem generational to me, more like Reggie Bush, good, but not as great as the system made him look. Still, maybe he will be great with a better line and a better QB once Mendoza has the reins.
The most important thing is that these boys are putting out tape so as the season goes along and injuries start to mount, some of these guys that are on practice squads might get the call. Fisher is playing for one of the top defenses in the league if not the best, hard to crack the team but maybe gets a call from another one. Think Black is no 2 behind CMC right now, due to all the injuries on the 49ers
@busdrivere I haven't followed what's going on in the Texans camp but I'd be surprised if they don't keep Fisher after he just led them in tackles in a game and was drafted. He'd be a special teams monster!
@kkott Agree reminds me of Micah McFadden from a couple of years ago he is still with the giants
It hurts my heart to see Fernando not doing well. I knew he’d have growing pains, but this is hard. Another topic I guess cuts have to be made by Sunday. Will be interesting to see who makes their rosters.
@zeke4ahs The good news about Mendoza is there is no pressure on him to start this year and he can get his feet under him this year

He's doing fine. But he's not going undefeated or winning the MVP.
@tammany Oh I know and I’m not worried about him ( except for injury). I’m not used to his line being bad and his receivers dropping balls.

Is Cam Camper going to be stashed on the Jets practice squad? I see teams with stone handed receivers, but then hear Cam is on the fence at best to make the Jets roster.
Somebody should pick him up.
