I’m still pissed the Colts didn’t draft any of our guys! After watching last night, Colts need some serious help, especially defensively!

Nowakowski dropped one in the end zone too. Rourke also suffered  a rib injury and was pulled.

@openwheel I'm not the most knowledgeable about the NFL, but I thought the trend for the most part with RBs had turned from signing big name/salary guys to just signing free agents to avoid tying up big salaries, because they found there were so many good young guys and their production didn't justify signing big name guys most of the time. I would think being multi-faceted as a runner, blocker and pass catcher would help as would his prep with IU and it's staff. Probably largely depends on Vegas' RB situation, but the staff saw something in him with the # of carries he continued to get, even as Black seemed to emerge as being more explosive. I also thought he might have more value to LV with Fernando being there because of their familiarity and chemistry. Don't think it's a coincidence that Roman and EJ ended up there.

I just think he's a bit below average for an NFL back. If so it's really tough to break in. Not like he's some really big dude for picking up blitzes or lead blocking.

He is versatile, I hope he makes a team.

No shade to the pre-Cignetti players, but for me it used to be "Oh! So and so got into a pre-season game!"

Looking at last night's box scores, its like "Yeah, those are our 2025 National Champs showing out in their first taste of pro ball!"

I don't watch much NFL, but I like the Colts.  However, my cheering priority is now the '24 and '25 guys from IU.

I love watching Richardson run, but it doesn't do much good if he coughs it up after breaking a long one.

I was wondering if Cal fans were as invested as Hoosier fans in watching Mendoza?

Looking forward to Ponds and Cooper tonight. I think the Jets may finally have a coach who won't suck, so these guys will be the toast of the town if the Jets get good. Talk about a starving fanbase... Their second starved fanbase.

@kkott don't forget Rourke, 10/12 for 100 yards, I think.

@openwheel I’ve been following their forums and they rarely ever even mention him, which I think is odd.

It’s going to be really fun on Sundays this year, following our guys. So invested in each of them , even though most of them were here just one or two years. Such good guys, in addition to players for us.

Rourke also suffered  a rib injury and was pulled.

Taken to the hospital for breathing difficulty and released same night.  They thought he had his ribs cracked.

His run up the middle was quick. Imagine if he had both knees in '24.
