Would be fun to get him, but I’m not sensing it’s likely, of course maybe I’m wrong.
Bama is becoming a risky place though, including some iffy WR development.
With absolutely zero information, its felt like Bama is/was the place hes wanted to go....however, Indiana never losing keeps pulling him back in. The more he keeps visiting, the stronger the relationships become, and it could prpve vital if Bama decides to turn over their staff after next season.
Do we really want a 5*? LOL.
I know Sales mother is pushing some for him to stay close to home. I know many say it’s an IU vs. Bama battle.
I know your kidding but still, yes. Only if they have the mentality and work ethic that Coach Cig likes though. If Sales is a "Never given, always earned" type of guy then sign him up. I'd imagine he is or Coach and staff would have moved on from him.Do we really want a 5*? LOL.
The longer the Sales recruitment is open, the better for Indiana like a pro poker player having more information on their table opponents.
If in late Nov '26 it looks like Marsh and Becker are going to the NFL and the team is not feeling great about three or four '27 returners being starter quality and you don't have great '27 portal transfers at WR on the hook, then handing out 5 star freshman starter big time money to Sales makes plenty of sense.
