Due to a wedding I had to sell my USC tickets. They sold and now I'm having a problem with how to transfer the paper tickets. Buyers information does not go through. Anyone help?

@lbw I don't use paper tickets, so I went to ChatGPT for help and the response perplexed me (and AI can be wrong!) because it starts with saying you can't transfer paper tickets, so this may all be garbage, but:

SeatGeek’s current rules say physical paper tickets aren’t eligible for resale on its Marketplace. Since yours have already sold, check the sale confirmation email and the order in your Tickets/Listings page for specific delivery instructions. SeatGeek says those instructions determine whether you need to take action. SeatGeek SeatGeek

If the tickets are hard-copy paper tickets:

  1. Contact SeatGeek Support right away from the sold order: open it and choose Contact Support. Explain that the tickets are physical paper tickets and ask how SeatGeek wants you to fulfill this sale. Their guidance is to contact support promptly if you can’t deliver as instructed. SeatGeek
  2. Don’t mail them to an address you guessed or contact the buyer directly. Send them only if SeatGeek’s order page or sale email gives you shipping instructions and an address. SeatGeek says other ticket types should follow the instructions in the sale confirmation email. SeatGeek
  3. If SeatGeek tells you to ship them, follow its instructions exactly, keep proof of shipment, and update the sale in your account if prompted.

If the tickets are actually electronic tickets printed on paper, say that when contacting support; that may be different from hard-stock paper tickets. A missed delivery can affect payment and may lead to extra costs, so contact them as soon as you can.

@gros-louis Thanks for your reply. I think the real problem is when I click on buyer's info it disappears instead of providing me with mailing instructions.

@lbw you should be able to enter the barcode into SeatGeek. But yes, contact SeatGeek

@thehoosierhuddle Thanks Sammy, but easier said than done. No phone, disappearing instructions. More trouble than it's worth.

@lbw I would email their customer support and ask if you can digitally transfer the tickets. I didnt even know they still did the paper ticket sales still. When I sold printed out seats for nothwestern, in order to list them I had to put in the digits below the bar code
