To the White House yet, does anyone know? And let’s refrain from making this political. I’m just curious.
Nothing I’ve heard.
OSU champ team was invited late March for a mid-April visit.
With the draft coming up I’d imagine it would be tough to do it for awhile anyway.
Hope they won’t accept an invite! I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that orange corksoaker!
Nothing on that end, and to me it's not a huge deal one way or the other. If it happens cool, if it doesn't oh well
Maybe the team can be invited to meet with President Pam Whitten. That way the faculty can be very mad but not completely enraged.
@openwheel I just think the celebration ships have sailed. That team has scattered all over the country.
It also would be very un-Cignetti like. There isn’t even a banner or anything about being national champions in the practice facility or stadiums (at least not yet). So, I believe the ship has sailed on any other big celebrations

Whatever we permanently put in the stadium for the title, I’m starting to think it’s going to be small, such as a tiny “2025” somewhere and that’s it.
@tammany They have an area (and that's a loose term) in the South End Zone with postseason appearances listed. It'll go there. I understand Cignetti, but I think it'd be an oversight not to have the playoff teams, at minimum, prominently displayed somewhere.

Right. I think it gives the stadium prestige when you display that stuff. Maybe Cig wants to put some distance in time between last seasons team and our flaunting of it so the team isn't stuck in gear. But I do hope they proudly show that off in the stadium. Only 8 of the 16 B1G teams have a national title. Let alone go undefeated. Tradition isn't everything but it is important.

Ha, I missed that existing postseason area… never noticed it.
I hope we do something a little more prominent like you said. Including for the ‘24 team.
Yeah, it is right outside the Tobias Center. Just some plaques on the wall.@tammany They have an area (and that's a loose term) in the South End Zone with postseason appearances listed. @low-level-flyer Thanks.
I'd think we need something, even if it's minimal, inside the stadium everyone can see too.
