@qparker On TV it looked like there was a ton of red in the stadium. PSU fans showed up though, winless in the B1G in a year they thought they would be title contenders and they still packed it

I said the exact same thing. After the late TD at the end of the first half and the INT to start the second, a TD off that turnover was all it would have taken to completely take over the game. As it was, we let a team hang around that is way too talented and with a fan base who is way too loyal.
I’ll be real. Nobody we talked to from PSU ahead of the game was remotely confident in their team. When the game kicked off people were still streaming in. It was crazy how relatively empty it looked. But it eventually filled up. And their team got to feeling themselves. And the stadium went from intermittently loud to very loud and the upper deck was shaking.
I’m glad in a way that IU had a gut check game (like Iowa & Oregon), but I’m disappointed it got to that. I’m hearing that Evans ought to be back by the B1G championship game. We need as many healthy bodies as possible. Because if we play like that vs OSU we will get dog walked.

As many others commented, I don’t understand all the short kickoffs today and that squib kick at the end was terrible. Warren was booting balls into the endzone last weekend and the UCLA games. Not sure what was going on with him today?
