Headed North? Seaside and Canon Beach are pretty popular tourist spots. If you are in Portland and enjoy reading Powell Books is still the largest book story west of NYC. Also, Portland is an excellent city for food. Other areas you may come across are the wineries SW of Portland, Oregon is well know for Pinot Noir.@goducks349 Thanks. I also, think it's still possible that whales are migrating along the coast, they come in pretty close so ask you might see some.
