Halftime Thoughts Offense

Indiana leads 14-0 at halftime, and the offense has moved the ball decently overall, but it has left a few chances out there. Turbo Richard opened the game with a 25-yard run (which is still the only 10+ yard run the Hoosiers have had today). The best offensive sequence was the 12-play, 98-yard touchdown drive capped by Davion Chandler’s 20-yard score.
Still, the Hoosiers could have more points.

While Josh Hoover has made some strong throws to Nick Marsh and Charlie Becker, he has missed a couple open throws that could have extended drives or created bigger plays, including back-to-back third and fourth down incomplete passes and a deep ball late in the half to Marsh. The run game has not shined, run blocking has been very sloppy overall, Indiana is averaging 3.4 yards a run, but Beebe finally found the end zone after having touchdowns called back in each of the first two games.

@unclemark I get that.  I’m just at a loss as to why we used him so sparingly and leaned on Bebee so much.
