Supposedly the press box at West Point is the technological gold standard. I checked it out on their site and it’s not much to look at as far as the exterior goes (so it’s not worth linking). You wouldn’t think that it would be that difficult for our guys to meet or surpass the technology while upgrading the physical environs…

The next most mentioned press box is the one at Tennessee but it evidently is somewhat cramped as someone wrote a negative story about tripping in the tight aisle and hurting themselves…

So…, create ours with beyond cutting edge tech and with more space to work and move about then the existing ones and we’re #1 (again 😉😎).

@tammany Paywalled.  Clif Notes version?

There was a lot in there, I guess the cliffs are the first phase won't be more capacity.  It will be maintenance and upgrading the fan experience with things like premium seating/suites, restrooms, concessions, and the sound system.  Before adding a lot more seats they need to make sure demand is there for an ROI and I guess expansion opens up complications like new building code standards that can temporarily reduce capacity.  Not sure where they are on fundraising, but I think some of that is still in progress.  TBD...

Not to mention they're waiting for Ordy to find the drawings...

I honestly thought the bleachers in the SEZ were still wooden seats until sometime in the 90s.

I did as well. I remember sitting there in the mid 60’s dreaming about watching the undefeated ‘45 team.
