Back to the question do other coaches not like Cig?Yes I think it’s pretty evident that he rubs most coaches and fanbases the wrong way.

They don’t like his ‘confidence’ and other fanbases are extremely jealous of how quickly IU has become a force on the national scene.

@ccmac certainly if I were a fan of Illinois, Nebraska, Purdue or many other teams I would be very jealous of what Cig is doing. I was quite jealous of what Brohm did at Purdue and that was not even close.

@walt542 Nebraska finds it frustrating.  Reminds me of how we feel in basketball where so many programs do better than us.  Hopefully CDD ends this issue…

The success of Brohm at Purdue, while wildly inconsistent, is what really soured me on Allen.  Particularly with what both coaches inherited.  Allen - a program that had been to two straight bowls and fairly stable.
Brohm - inherited a dumpster fire set by Hazell.
Brohm owned Allen.  It even carried over to his new job at Louisville where he made Allen look like he didn’t know Louisville would pass the ball in his offense.
