@hoosier-nati we will see. ODU is a very good G5 team. They have an excellent front seven, an all conference tackle and their QB led the Sun Belt in total yards. Despite what the national folks say, this will be a good test for IU.
Well, if IU is a good team, they should still win by a comfortable margin. They need to or the national media will crap all over them.
@iugradman I agree. I think the best case is to cover and then have ODU win the Sun Belt East or something. I believe they play Wake Forest in week 2, will be rooting for ODU.
It’s so strange, but fun, watching other games and always thinking about which outcome would be best for us to move up in the standings. Can’t wait until next week!
@mohoosier It's a new era. I hate wishing time away, but if you can get me to Thursday night, I'll be happy.
Hawaii QB is pretty fun. Stanford roster outside of the RB and TE look pretty subpar
The Dublin thing is a pretty neat concept for schools to go overseas and play a game. Great for the fans. I know that this is the third year of this, I believe. Nebraska and Northwestern were the first. Last year was Florida State and Georgia Tech. This year it was a Big 12 matchup. Next year is North Carolina and TCU. I think in ‘27, Wisconsin plays in it. Typical Ireland weather. It was raining hard in the first half. A fumble-fest by both squads. I thought Klieman panicked in the 4th quarter and went for it on his on 29 with 4th and 1.5 yards. That was with 8 minutes + left in the game. Really risky when you are only down 3 at that point.
The Dublin game is great for some fans, but not many fans.
I don't get this Dublin game. They could have played it at Arrowhead, and instead of the game costing thousands to travel to and attend like Dublin, fans could have driven to KC and tickets would have been something like $40 or less. If you want to go to Dublin you can still take a vacation there.
But, as long as IU doesn't do this game, I don't care.
@yothn no no no....the new INDIANA will move up. The fighting Cignetti's are not taken lightly.
BEAT PURDUE
Seems more like an event to help Dublin’s local economy than getting anyone over there into CFB.

These are the games in years past where we'd step on our dicks. We'll know soon enough if we've gotten away from that and that last year wasn't an anomaly. Win each period in a dominating, businesslike fashion and we'll be in really good shape.
@tammany I'm definitely of that mind. Waste of time, energy and for certain financial resources. Never gonna be anything but a foriegn aide gimme.
He ended up with 10 yards on 6 carries. Against Sam Houston.@olympian97 Looks like he's the number 3 back there as well. He does have five catches for 27 yards.
That shocks me. I thought he was a pretty decent back for us. I guess our OL might have been pretty good....
