Cig is pissed off at the safeties and the wide receivers for not blocking.

I love it.

No letdown this weekend.

Yea, the pressure on Altmyer probably bailed them out a few times.

On that topic, we have also got Louis’ hearing coming up on the 24th…

Crazy thing is IU hasn’t shown everything yet. Rushed 4 most of the time and still got home. Iowa has a way better O-line. I’m betting cig brings slot pressure some against Iowa.

I wonder how many times Florida's AD has called Cig in the last 48 hours.

Maybe I’m naive, but I don’t think Cignetti is looking to move on. I think he loves it here.

Who do we have training at DB or especially safety who could take snaps if we have an injury?

I know we're thin. Do we have any depth?

Me too.

But to match 'an offer you can't refuse' - i.e. guaranteed amounts way above the highly competitive top 15 amount he makes now, which you know he will get offered - we may need another large bump and have it guaranteed for about as far out as he could imagine coaching.

Which would be fine with me!

But if we can compete to keep him top 15 or top 10, I'm not worried either. He's the man here, and it's a good place. And he can compete for titles, maybe not national, who knows, but Big Ten. Probably will be able to maintain 'enough' resources for that.

@openwheel  - There is value in an administration that is all in, letting him carve out his vision and a fan base that idolizes him.  If he did this at UF, they certainly would love him but at IU, he is 11-12 straight wins from having his statue built before next season.

To put it simply....at Florida, this level of success is primarily due to many factors (talent, resources, program relevance...etc.) but at IU it's primarily because of him.  Not to mention his wife is obsessed with this place.  I don't think he leaves for any offer.

Cig isn’t going to Florida.

Yea they have more resources and football culture, but that programs has issues, including a lot of politics around the program.

I also doubt he fits the profile of the coach they want.  As good as he is, he is older and not from the area.

I just want Cig to bring us a 'Darkest Day III' sometime soon, for the T-shirt .

Coach came off as a bit short and irritated at some of the media questions like he was a bit tired from working 20 hours Sunday getting prepared for this Iowa game.

Love it.
