Sorsby was pretty much destined to end up back in his home state of Texas playing for a school there. That said, I’m glad IU didn’t pursue him again due to all of this.
i still recall one of his final plays in an IU uniform. EJ Williams standing all alone down the sideline and Sorsby threw it into the stands against Purdue.

Although I've not seen it mentioned anywhere, he HAD to have been betting at UC too for his eligibility to be in jeopardy, right? And to check into a rehab (which, my cynical guess is that it's a performative thing to try to reduce any incoming penalties)...you wouldn't do that if you hadn't been gambling the whole time, not just at IU 3 years ago.
He'll have a ton of lawsuits. Suing the NCAA to be able to play. Or suing TT to keep getting his NIL $. Or suing whoever he can to save face/$.
