I've seen some people claim that we have team full of 25-30 year olds.
I love it. Let them hate.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

This has been one of my favorite complaints to see online. Having a senior heavy or veteran team has been considered one of the biggest compliments one could get in college sports FOREVER. All of a sudden it’s treated like some underhanded tactic. I love it.
14 of our 22 starters have eligibility next year. This narrative is just stupid.
Haters gonna hate
Bring it! Damn it's sheer pleasure being in the 'Big Boys' sights. That means they're following and not leading. F'em!
One thing I also keep hearing is that IU is there because they outspent everyone in NIL.

I keep reading everywhere that our average age is 23, which is false.
Our average age is 21.2. Feel free to correct the people spreading misinformation.
you can't teach experience
Wait until next year when they find out our punter fought in WW2.
Miami is actually older.
@auburnhoosier Yes, at least their starters are, when measured by HS graduation dates, since dates of birth are often not in profiles these days.

File a freedom of information act request on the birthdates of the teams.
Reason for request: To settle an argument with internet trolls.
Actually, the info is probably on a site, but I couldn't find it.
I was just telling a bunch of the reddit trolls that 23 years was so obviously false it was laughable. And the answer is always 'it was posted!' .
