I think Coogan has been the key to elevating IU to a championship level this year by bringing his leadership, work ethic and pedigree from ND. This is a great interview with Coogan and Herbstreit, who is the guy who picked Coogan as MVP. He actually wanted to pick the entire OL, and they said they couldn't do that, so he picked the leader. The best IU interview I've heard, of many great ones!

PS. and if you didn't hear Fernando on Pat McAfee show, he said at halftime, Coogan said: " We're going to drag them to the deep end and step on their neck until the last air bubble comes up!". The most gangster thing ever uttered by an IU football player, and it was at halftime of the Rose Bowl vs Bama. Holy cow.
