Thought I would share this web site that breaks down the AP votes and voters for all teams.
They have a lot of ads and popups but the breakdown and navigation seems solid.

a coaches breakdown would be interesting
Interesting that some people voted lower after we beat North Texas.
They just followed ESPN's formula rankings which dropped us from 5 to 7.
I mean, we were unable to play a full 4th quarter! Showed weakness. /s 😉
If I'm Cig I would never play the shortened 4th quarter again ... where's rhe consideration for the fans on this one. We get jipped out of 5 minutes of winning football
I think there should be vast poll movements early in the season, based on the play. After North Texas (right or wrong) IU didn't look amazing and other teams have looked flawless. Mind you, it could be based on false premise, like Clemson could be a 2 win team and LSU gets credit for a 40 pt thrashing of a high-end program. The preseason rankings are baseless, so I am fine with teams dropping drastically, win or lose, based on how they are playing. The idea that a team who started at the top must stay at the top as long as they win, is something more fitting for the 2nd half of the season when teams have more of a resume to fall back on.
Rankings are popularity contests until mid October
Indiana had the second highest number of 1st place votes.
Somebody out there likes us.
Keerist, just saw NDs schedule. They play three big ten teams who just happen to be the dregs. Next up, Michigan State, then Purdue. They already beat Wisconsin. They'll be 3-0 vs the big ten. I guess they ducked Rutgers.
The lowest AP voter on Indiana this week is Fort Wayne's ND homer Dylan Sinn who dropped us two spots to 8th.
