This is why you have to beat the cupcakes soundly- to not fall in the polls and make it harder to get into the playoff.

@iugradman nothing really changed though. The season still hangs on the Illinois, Iowa and Oregon games. Oregon was the 1 seed after narrowly beating Idaho at home in the opener and really should’ve lost to Boise State.

Falling from 20 to 22 really doesn’t matter right now. South Carolina beat ODU by 4 and lost 3 games and people were begging they get into the CFP.

Both polls come out today. I believe IU stays in the polls, but drops slightly 

I believe last year when Oregon beat Idaho at home 27 -17 in their home opener they actually rose in the polls, which is what happens for programs that have had some success in the past.  Idaho is FCS.
