I just pulled the trigger on tix and a parking pass to the 100th Bucket game. I have not missed an IU home game in 13 years, but this will be my first game in West Laffy.
Any general tips from those who have gone?
Is anyone else here golng?
Is there any place where IU fans typically congregate pregame (tailgate)?
Any help would be appreciated.

Vick’s Vapor Rub is always useful in W Laffy.
Should be a large contingent of Indiana fans there. Have fun & bring us a win.

Haven't missed a home or away bucket game since prior to Randle El. There's usually a large contingent of IU fans tailgating everywhere. We have about 20 of us, but no real plan set yet. If it'll be nasty out, we may just storm into one of the bars to tailgate.
I expect to see A LOT of Hoosier fans in West Lafayette Friday night.
We expect to have a fairly big party crowd in the RV3 lot. We’ll have some fires going and the bus will at least be warm for people needing a break.
it figures to be a cold one so dress warm!
no tips really. Pretty basic Big 10 tailgate atmosphere. Intramural fields are a good/wide open space and easy ish walk to the stadium.
Parking is super spread out. I know for media we used to park by the golf course, but now we either get a garage pass or park at the high school.
Make sure your vaccinations are up to date before traveling to WL.
Weather doesn't look too awful so we plan to tailgate. I assume on the hill but we'll see what's available
Stadium is right in the middle of dorms and several other buildings. Small lots surround it. Not like Bloomington where it's little easier to see and congregate. As Sammy said lots are spread out all over. Parking garbage isn't ideal but it works.
No need to try and find the ambiance of W Lafayette in town and waste your money. You can just stop by any livestock field on the way in or out of town to experience that. Breathe deeply.... that's W Lafayette for ya!
