A Saturday without IU football . . .

... sucks.

It does, though, present an opportunity for catching up on stuff around the house and spending more time with the fam.

Except for the USC/Oregon game (and Mizzou at Oklahoma), the college football schedule is mostly piss-poor this weekend.  No marquee games.  Oh, except for some riveting matchups in the SEC like Samford at Texas A&M, Charlotte at Georgia and Eastern Illinois at Alabama. Wink

I don’t mind it.  No stress and all the other teams can beat up on each other.

I could use a stress free Saturday.

Rest up, cuz in a couple more weeks after the Bucket, games will become very stressful to watch! I’ve had about a ton of heart attacks the past year or 2 thanks to the sPacers, Colts, Hoosiers being really close!

I just posted a viewing guide on the site. It's nice to have a stress free Saturday though

My Saturday afternoon naps have been hit or miss. I'll be taking full advantage of the bye week.

It would suck under most circumstances, but an extra week to get healthy is a godsend right now.

Thank God for the bye week, as we need two full weeks of prep for Purdue.

@gthomas Absolutely.  I meant it sucks from a fan's perspective.  But you're right, it's a great time for a bye so the team is [hopefully] at full strength for the postseason wars. And to that end, it'll be important to put Purdue away early (can't let them hang around) so CCC can pull starters.

Think about this for a second.  It wasn't long ago when the goal each year was to win six and make it to a bowl.  This season I'll be disappointed if we're not playing on January 19 for the national championship.

Again, a bye week couldn't have come at a better time, but what a weak-ass slate today, 💤

I might have to actually be ... productive. Ugh.

It’s nice to have a day to watch other teams with no stress.

Miami is getting hot, OU looks very beatable, and OSU is showing it’s not invincible
