I don't pay any attention to 247 because I believe it's trash, but On3 had Pugh as a zero star the day following the commitment.

Me too. I swear I saw a non-ranking (or less than 3) on Pugh right when he was announced. But if 247 has him at 86, my eyes must have deceived me.@packtherock do you know when he got the 3 star ranking? Just wondering if our guys are getting the "Cig bump" now like Duke/UNC recruits in bball. We've had a lot of guys really rise in their rankings after we signed them (Torbert, Sharpe, the safety prospect from the NE....). I think the QB we took is moving up also, Purcell?
Guys, relax, you’re overthinking this…
A) The Only Evaluation that matters with any of these players is the one done by Cig and his Staff… You’re letting the evaluations of amateurs (the recruit ranking services) worry you, versus that of Professionals (Cig and our Staff).
B) Those listed overall rankings give more weight to quantity than they do to quality , so if you feel you must use them look at quality rankings and match them against those teams with similar quality rankings…
C) Finally, you can be certain that Cig will never overpay for talent that has just looked good against high school players and have yet to match up against college players…(unless he’s a once in a lifetime player ie Sales)..
Trust the process. The past 2 seasons have proven beyond a shadow of doubt that it works…
IMO It's pretty clear Pugh got the Cig bump. 
Of course they would have rated him this fall, but at least one rating service was caught flat footed.
As long as they are bumped after we make the NIL deal instead of as soon as the services fi isgure out Cig after a guy. Gotta watch the NIL a bit.
Harris-Dupree is massive. Hard to teach that kind of speed to go with that size.

@thehoosierhuddle that’s what I get for not doing leg work. I must have read an old article. I was shocked that it listed him in the article, and then I saw a retweet from a Hoosier account. I looked closer to see it said ND commit in the original tweet.
