Do the coaches recruit by region? I notice Parker Elmore's photo is with Coach Haines? So I assume he was the lead recruiter? Which I found odd as he's not the tight ends coach.
@thehoosierhuddle Something else I was surprised by was that Gibbs went to Hubers. I know that's often not the team's stars, but it seems to me in year's past it was at least guys who played and I thought it was unusual to send a freshman. At least made me wonder if the staff was seeing something they liked in him.
@openwheel Yeah, they recruit by region. Usually the region coach is first point of contact, then the position coach.

@kkott That's a good point. I believe they sent Utzinger and Quinn Warren to the event at the Palladium as well. It could be something, it could be nothing. But if you trust guys to talk in front of alumni and donors, it means something about their character at the very least.

@thehoosierhuddle went back and looked, and the year before it was Fisher and Sarratt (I thought Rourke went too for some reason). Now, obviously it was his first year and he knew and trusted those guys, but it wasn't anything resembling a freshman. Just made me raise an eyebrow, especially with the youth at TE.
