Cash Herrera’s high school career ended last Friday.
We don’t get quarterbacks from California very often so I’m excited to see what he’s got.

@thehoosierhuddle Good info Sammy! Excited by the 2026 flips but when will Cignetti close the door? He can't add an infinite number of flips to the roster.
@bigmike There could be one more. Door closes December 3rd on NSD

You just had to ruin everything
I was joking
Why the hell would he decommit? Is there some other coach with a better pedigree of developing QBs?
@iugradman Ohio state probably offered him with a large NIL
only kidding, but they are developing a pattern
@midwolfe a pattern? The teams pursuing him are all G5 it looks like. He was never seeing the field as IU was portaling anyway
@thehoosierhuddle I wasn’t referring to Cash specifically as I have no information on his de-commitment. Just stating that OSU has been seemingly going after guys that Cig and staff are identifying, but super late in their recruitment.
@midwolfe Ha! Tom Loy has said it’s San Diego St. Boise and another G6 school
@thehoosierhuddle Boise State would make sense, they recently had a 4* de-commit from them for Iowa
If we are being honest, his chances of starting at IU were not great being sandwiched between Alberto (with multi years eligibility) and Purcell in the class behind him
No hard feelings he picked a place he will play
@thehoosierhuddle Tom Loy is saying ND is out for Sieg.
It seems to be a IU/Virginia Tech battle now.
@boogie I’d lean VT since he was committed to Franklin at PSU, but I’ll check
Damn. Dues is out now? Are they making room for portal guys or something?
