The Indiana Hoosiers are hosting a number of recruits and committed high school prospects for this Saturday’s matchup against the No. 9 Illinois Fighting Illini. He is a breakdown of who will be on campus. There will be 11 committed players in attendance including 2027 4-star quarterback Jameson Purcell. There are a handful of other high priority 2027 prospects in the group as well.

The Indiana Hoosiers received their first commitment of the 2026 high school recruiting cycle with offensive lineman Samuel Simpson out of River Falls, Wisconsin. 247Sports ranks Simpson as the second best player in Wisconsin this cycle. IU beat out Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa State for his services. Simpson is listed at 6’4” and 285 pounds.
