The Indiana Hoosiers gained the commitment of Andrean High School (Merriville, IN) offensive lineman Ben Novak on Wednesday morning. Novak had been committed to Wisconsin.
Novak is a three-star recruit (87.22) according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Out of his 10 offers, he had four from Power Four schools (Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
The Hoosiers are looking at him as both a guard and a tackle, but most of his experience is on the interior of the line. He is listed at 6’6″ and 310 pounds. His athleticism makes Novak an interesting prospect as well, but he has had a few injuries along the way.
“At Indiana, everything seemed very professional which was one of the first things my parents and I noticed and appreciated,” Novak said in an interview with 247Sports Allen Trieu. “With the path college football is taking, it should be as professional as possible, which we saw at Indiana. I also loved the strength and conditioning coach and his manner.”
The Hoosiers 2026 recruiting class now sits at 23 members with six from Indiana.
