The Reactionary Preview: The B1G Title Game – IUFB vs Ohio State

Indiana Hoosiers wide receiver Elijah Sarratt (13) rushes up the field Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, during the 100th annual Old Oaken Bucket game at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette. Indiana Hoosiers defeated the Purdue Boilermakers, 56-3. I still need to be pinched to even imagine that the Indiana football team that I’ve followed so closely […]
The Reactionary Take: IUFB @ Purdue

IU got to a perfect regular season with a total dismantling, for the second straight year, of Purdue. New coach, new team same result for Purdue and I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Reactionary Preview: IUFB @ Purdue

I have to be honest…I care much more about IU beating a conference opponent to get to 12-0 and a birth in Indianapolis for the B1G title game on December 6th than winning The Bucket.
The Reactionary Take: IUFB vs Wisconsin

IUFB is 11-0 for the first time in school history with a chance to have a perfect season in two weeks in West Lafayette against Purdue.
The Reactionary Preview: IU vs Wisconsin

We can all breathe a collective sigh of relief as IU won probably their last true huge test while battling injuries and inconsistency to get to 10-0.
The Reactionary Take: IUFB @ PSU

What a big win.
It looked like IU was going to cruise a win when they went up 20-7 with 6:03 left in the 3rd quarter
IUFB: The Reactionary Take + PSU Preview

I know that’s two years in a row for IU to get to 9-0 but anyone who’s followed this program longer than the Curt Cignetti era knows just how insane that sounds. “Firsts” in program history are seemingly happening every week and I have still not fully adjusted to this reality.
It’s just still so hard for me to get to the new reality that is “yes, IU is actually just a very good football team and this is what good football teams do”.
The Reactionary Preview: No. 2 Indiana at Maryland

IU has a chance to get to 9-0 for the second time in as many years. Wild times.
But, while they’re favored by more than three scores, Maryland has held leads of each of their last three games late in those games and found ways to lose. They’ve lost those games by a combined 10 points. They’re basically three quarters away from being 7-0.
The Reactionary Take: IUFB vs UCLA

Not much more you can say about what Indiana is doing to most of it’s opponents.
It’s just such a fascinating place to be where I was more worried about IU not covering the spread I bet before the game than I was them having a hiccup and losing.
The Reactionary Preview: IUFB vs UCLA

They gutted out a win against Maryland at home last week and beat MSU on the road the week before 38-13. Does 38-13 vs MSU look familiar? Well that’s the same score IU beat them in Bloomington.
We’ll break it all down on this weeks Reactionary Preview.
