College Football is underway, and two of Indiana’s 12 regular-season opponents played in Week 0 this past weekend: USC and Howard. As the season goes on, we will take a look at how IU’s opponents fare each week.

North Texas Mean Green (0-0)

The Mean Green open the season against the Hoosiers on Sept. 5th.

Howard Bison (1-0): Last Week Loss 34-10 vs. Alabama A&M

The Howard Bison opened the season with a 31-24 win over Alabama A&M in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Atlanta. Bison quarterback Ja’shawn Scroggins threw for 315 yards despite being banged up for a drive.

The Hilltoppers open the season at Nevada on September 5th. They then play Georgia in week two before coming to Indiana.

The Huskies open the year with the Apple Cup against Washington State. It’s a rivalry game, so the favorite does not always win.
