Hoosiers Softball Hosts Loyola-Chicago For Mid-Week Matchup

The Indiana Hoosiers (18-5, 2-1) won the final two games against the Minnesota Golden Gophers to win the weekend series 2-1. IU used great pitching and timely hitting to win the final two games after a hard luck 2-0 loss Friday night.

The Hoosiers are back on the diamond on Tuesday afternoon for a mid-week game against Loyola-Chicago Ramblers who are coming off a weekend series at Dayton.

A four-game losing streak followed before the Ramblers won two in a row followed by another four-game skid. The Rambers took the first two against Dayton last weekend and will play the series finale on Monday morning (Loyola leads 8-0 at the time of publishing).
