Highly-Touted Running Back Kurt Taylor takes in Indiana Practice

Running back prospects all-around the nation have the Hoosiers on their radar, and for good reason. Anytime a coaching staff can boast that their offense produced a 2000-yard rusher that is likely to be drafted in the first couple rounds of the upcoming NFL draft, it makes for a great selling-point and causes recruits to sit up and take notice. That's why is was not much of a surprise to me when I spotted one of the top running backs in the 2017 class inside of Memorial Stadium Thursday evening during the Hoosiers last spring practice.

The Hoosiers 2016 recruiting class is now off and running with the commitment of Ohio quarterback Peyton Ramsey. His announcement came on Tuesday night via twitter, just moments before I posted my article meant to reassure fans that the slow start in recruiting was no cause for worry. The Hoosiers also appear to be in good shape with Ohio's Chawntez Moss and Missouri's Roderick Campbell Jr. Indiana also extended offers this week to defensive ends Michael Boykin and AJ Epenesa. The Hoosiers hosted two talented running back prospects on Thursday night, 2016's Kiante Enis and 2017's Kurt Taylor.
