How Former Hoosiers Fared in Week Seven of the NFL Season

Former Hoosiers dotted box scores all over the NFL on Sunday. Additionally three Hoosiers were drafted in to the new XFL that starts in 2020.

Tevin Coleman – San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers advanced to a perfect 6-0 record on the season despite not scoring a touchdown on Sunday. Tevin Coleman led the team with 20 rushing attempts for 62 yards. Coleman added two receptions for negative one yard as well.

Jordan Howard – Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles got smacked on Sunday night against the Cowboys, losing 37-10. Jordan Howard led the team in rushing attempts and yards with 11 carries for 50 yards. He also added two receptions for six total yards.

Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers

The Panthers were on a bye week.

Cody Latimer – New York Giants

Cody Latimer caught four passes for 33 yards on Sunday in a loss to the Cardinals. Latimer has 10 catches for 137 yards in total on the year.

Nate Sudfeld – Philadelphia Eagles

Nate Sudfeld was active for the Eagles as a backup quarterback in their loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Chris Covington – Dallas Cowboys

Chris Covington was inactive for the Cowboys Sunday night victory over the Eagles.

Dan Feeney – Los Angeles Chargers

Dan Feeney was active for the Chargers heartbreaking loss to the Titans.

Brandon Knight – Dallas Cowboys

Brandon Knight was inactive for the Cowboys win over the Eagles.

Wes Martin – Washington Redskins

Wes Martin was inactive for Washington’s loss against the 49ers.

Roger Saffold – Tennessee Titans

Roger Saffold was active for Tennessee’s close victory over the LA Chargers.

Jason Spriggs – Green Bay Packers

Jason Spriggs remains on Injured Reserve.

XFL Draft

Several former Hoosiers were selected in the XFL Draft, a professional football league making its debut in February. Former IU linebacker Tegray Scales was selected by the Dallas Renegades. Former wide receiver and punt returner J-Shun Harris was selected by the New York Guardians. Linebacker Robert McCray was also selected by the Guardians. Defensive end Bobby Richardson was selected by the Tampa Bay Vipers and offensive lineman Andrew McDonald was taken by the St. Louis Battlehawks.
