How Former Hoosiers Fared in Week 3 of the 2021 NFL Season

Six former Hoosiers were active this week in the NFL. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was the star of the bunch, scoring his first career touchdown and having a career day on top of it.
Rodger Saffold – Tennessee Titans (2-1)
Rodger Saffold got another start and the Titans got another win. Saffold is having yet another solid season on the offensive line, helping to propel one of the NFL’s best rushing attacks.
Tevin Coleman – New York Jets (0-3)
Tevin Coleman was inactive for the Jets loss against the Broncos. Coleman was said to have a non-Covid illness.
Nate Sudfeld – San Francisco 49ers (2-1)
Nate Sudfeld remains on the 49ers’ practice squad.
Dan Feeney – New York Jets (0-3)
Dan Feeney was active for the Jets loss to the Broncos.
Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers (3-0)
Ian Thomas did not have a reception, but played a key role as a blocker in Carolina’s win over the Houston Texans.
Wes Martin – New York Giants (0-3)
Wes Martin was signed to the Giants practice squad on Monday.
Brandon Knight – Dallas Cowboys (2-1)
Brandon Knight was active for the Cowboys big win on Monday night football over the Eagles. Knight saw a handful of snaps on offense in the blowout.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Tennessee Titans (2-1)

Not only did Nick Westbrook-Ikhine score his first NFL touchdown on Sunday, he had the best overall game of his professional career during the Titans win over the Colts. Westbrook-Ikhine was targeted four times, had four receptions for 53 total yards. The former IU wide receiver is carving out a niche on one of the NFL’s better teams.
Jason Spriggs – Atlanta Falcons (1-2)
Jason Spriggs saw time on special teams and handful of offensive snaps during Atlanta’s victory over the Giants on Sunday.
Jamar Johnson – Denver Broncos (3-0)
Rookie Jamar Johnson was inactive again on Sunday for the Broncos win over the Jets.
Whop Philyor – Minnesota Vikings (1-2)
Whop Philyor remains on the Minnesota practice squad.
Harry Crider – Philadelphia Eagles (1-1)
The Eagles signed former IU O-lineman Harry Crider to their practice squad.
