How Former Hoosiers Fared in Week 11 of the 2021 NFL Season

IU/NFL – Week 11

The NFL division races are heating up and a few Hoosiers find themselves in the playoff hunt.  

Rodger Saffold – Tennessee Titans (8-3) 

Rodger Saffold got the start at guard on Sunday against the Texans. Unfortunately, Tennessee was stunned at home, losing to a last place Houston team in a game that wasn’t particularly close.   

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Tennessee Titans (8-3)

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine posted his best game as a pro in Tennessee’s loss to Houston. The former IU wideout had seven receptions for 107 yards, including a 46-yard catch (the longest of his career). Westbrook-Ikhine is finding a groove in the NFL with the Titans. He has 23 receptions for 272 yards and two touchdowns so far this season.

Tevin Coleman – New York Jets (2-8)

In his second game back from injury, Tevin Coleman had five carries for 16 yards in the Jets loss to Miami on Sunday. The former Hoosier legend also caught a pass for two yards. Coleman has 30 carries for 118 yards on the season to go along with five receptions for 23 yards.

Jordan Howard – Philadelphia Eagles (5-6)

Jordan Howard racked up 63 yards on 10 carries in the Eagles win over New Orleans on Sunday.  The former Hoosier running back has had four consecutive weeks with solid production. His yards-per-carry average is up to 5.4 on the year. Howard has 51 carries for 274 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Nate Sudfeld – San Francisco 49ers (PS)

Nate Sudfeld remains on the 49ers practice squad.

Dan Feeney – New York Jets (2-8)

Dan Feeney saw most of his playing time come on special teams during the Jets’ loss against Miami. Feeney also played a handful of offensive snaps at guard.

Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers (5-6)

Ian Thomas caught one pass for 7 yards in the Panthers’ loss at home to the Washington Football Team. Thomas has hauled in 13 passes this year for 146 total yards.

Wes Martin – New York Giants (3-6)

Wes Martin was used primarily in a backup role and on special teams in the Giants loss to the Buccaneers on Monday night.

Jason Spriggs – Atlanta Falcons (4-6)

Jason Spriggs saw playing time on special teams during Atlanta’s loss to New England. Spriggs has made an appearance in every game for the Falcons this season.

Jamar Johnson – Denver Broncos (5-5)

The Broncos had a bye week.
