Hometown: Columbus, Indiana (Columbus East)

Making an appearance in 8 games as a true freshman, Harry Crider tops the list of talent for the offensive line. Crider helped the Hoosiers to finish third in the Big Ten (35th nationally) in passing offense (265.7), and sixth in scoring offense (26.8) and total offense (395.8) for the 2017-2018 season.
This spring, the Indiana native has stood out in the gains department to Coach Tom Allen, “We knew he was strong coming out of high school naturally, but boy he’s really taken off with our new strength staff,” Coach Allen said. After an injury-ridden 2017-2018 season, Indiana would benefit from Crider’s talents in multiple positions The 6’4”, 290 lb giant has been working at guard this spring to expand his versatility on the offensive line and give it depth..
With the addition of Nick Linder to the center position as a graduate transfer, and the return of Hunter Littlejohn for his third year, Crider’s versatility could help fill holes in the offensive interior. If Linder and Littlejohn stay healthy, Crider could very well redshirt. Bypassing a year behind two guys could benefit for the future.
