Weekly Recruiting Roundup 5-23-15

With summer camps just on the horizon the Hoosiers coaching staff continued to target prospects outside of the midwest, as these athletes are less likely to make it to Bloomington in the coming weeks. Once again it looks like the Hoosiers have prioritized the defensive side of the ball, extending offers to players at all three levels. The corner started the last seven games of last season, while hauling in two interceptions. He was an obvious starter heading into his senior season. While the program has promising talent waiting in the wings in the secondary, they are losing a player who brings experience off a defense that was the worst in the Big Ten last year. This was not what defensive coordinator Doug Mallory had in mind as an exciting start to camp.
