The spring is usually a busy time for players who have moved on from college football and decided to chase their professional football dreams. In the months between the end of the season and the NFL Draft, players usually would be working out with trainers and participating in pro days that are put on by their college or their local NFL teams. This spring, however, all those dreams were put on hold due to the shut downs caused by COViD-19. Indiana head Coach Tom Allen was joined by Indiana players Reakwon Jones, Simon Stepaniak, Nick Westbrook, Peyton Ramsey, and Coy Cronk in Jacksonville to give a final update ahead of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.

Regarding Thursday’s competition with the Tennessee Volunteers, Allen referenced Penn State, comparing their size, speed, athleticism and talent level to that of the Nittany Lions they faced in November.

Indiana Hoosiers All-Decade Team (2010-2019)

As the decade closes out and we ring in a new year in just a few hours, I have put together my All-Decade team for the Indiana Hoosiers. This is just my opinion and I encourage discussion. The 2010’s were an up and down time for the Hoosiers as three head coaches spent time leading IUFB. The Hoosiers have had success though and some may call it the most successful decade since the 1980’s or 1990’s for the Hoosier football program. Indiana’s team won 49 games over the ten years, including six wins against Purdue (the first winning decade against the Boilermakers since the 1940’s) and qualified for three bowl games.
