What’s at Stake: If Indiana is to reach a bowl game for the third straight season, this is a game they have to win. That is first and foremost. After the outcome, the biggest things IU will need to accomplish are establishing an offensive identity and rhythm, building a bit of confidence before facing Michigan next Saturday and hopefully avoiding any more costly injuries to an already battered squad.

What’s at Stake: The Hoosiers and Eagles will be meeting for the first time in program history on Saturday and a victory is essential if IU is to reach a third consecutive bowl game. IU will be looking to get above .500 for the first time in this young season and this is the first of ten straight Saturday’s they will be taking the field so getting that grueling stretch off to a good start is imperative. Georgia Southern, a program with a proud tradition and high standards, is off to a 0-2 start and second-year head coach Tyson Summers is on the hot seat. He’ll hope his team responds to having their backs against the wall.
