After an offseason full of tragedy, uncertainty and impending massive upheaval in the college football landscape, we have somehow arrived right on the doorstep of the 2020 college football season. While the stadiums might be without fans, the product on the field should be no less enthralling and entertaining. Hoosier Huddle is previewing each position as we crash into IU’s season opener against Penn State. Countdown to 2018 IUFB Kickoff: 38 Days (Connor Thomas and Jeremy Boyd)

Today in the countdown we highlight two players on opposite sides of the ball. The first, redshirt sophomore running back, Connor Thomas. Thomas is a walk-on from Clarksville Academy where he played linebacker and running back under head coach Todd Hood. Thomas holds the school single-game rushing touchdown record (with 5) and he tallied 1,619 all purpose yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior.
