Three-star Tallahassee, Florida safety Lyndarious Strange picked up an IU offer on March 7th and talked about that offer and Indiana with Hoosier Huddle. Strange is a 247 Sports Composite 3-star prospect ranked as the 1,003rd best player in the nation and the 154th best player in Florida. At six-foot-three he would add much needed size in the secondary as the Hoosiers try to boost their defensive talent.

When asked about what his impressions of Indiana were Strange gushed, "I like Indiana a lot. They've been recruiting me and my friend Terrell Powell." He added "Indiana is a great university and (provides) a great education."

He also said, "The current team was great, but it (was) always little pieces missing."

Noah Joseph, Indiana's secondary coach, who has been Strange's main recruiter, who Strange calls his "homie" has told the prospect that "(he) can be (that missing piece)" and that "my skill set can be a big factor."

The Hoosiers recent recruiting success in Florida has stuck out to Strange as well. He said, "Florida is full of great players, who gravitate to great institutions and universities. It lets me know that Indiana is a great place because of that."

Strange plans on visiting Indiana at some point and would like to have a top-five list of schools by the time his senior season starts. He holds offers from 14 total schools including Miami (FL), Louisville, Illinois, Iowa State, Oregon State, Memphis, and South Florida among others.
