McCulley started off hot Friday night with a 45-yard touchdown pass. He led Lawrence North to 28-21 victory at rival Lawrence Central with 107 passing yards for 2 touchdowns and 101 rushing yards for a touchdown. His own 55-yard run into the end zone sealed the deal for LN to take home the Bell Trophy for the first time since 2007.

Vinny Fiacable

Fiacable led Bishop Dwenger to a 33-13 victory over Fort Wayne South.

Fiacable on his performance: “I felt like I contributed pretty well to the win on Friday. I had about 5 pancake blocks and thought I picked up the blitzing linebackers well. Overall I thought I did okay, many areas to improve. I want to improve my down blocks, trying to cut down on lunging at guys, and also finishing my blocks more.”

Cooper Jones

3-star recruit from Valparaiso, Indiana. 6’6”, 245 lb Defensive End. National Player Rank: 427th. Position Rank: 29th. State Rank: 4th.

Steinfeldt added 92 yards on 3 catches and a touchdown and a pair of pancake blocks to help Bloomington North to a 49-14 victory over Terre Haute South Vigo.

Steinfeldt on his back-to-back 90+ yard games: “It feels great— we made adjustments with the team to help get our offense on the field more. Week 1 we only had 7 plays total on the second half so we worked hard to get the most out of the drives and we’ve capitalized on all of those.”
