Indiana junior receiver Cody Latimer has been named to the Fred Biletnikoff Award Watch List.  The Biletnikoff Award is presented to the nation's most outstanding wide receiver at the conclusion of each season.  Latimer is the third Hoosier to be named to a national watch list in the 2013 preseason thus far.  The junior wideout joins tight end Ted Bolser (Mackey), and kicker Mitch Ewald (Groza).

As a sophomore Latimer hauled in 51 passes for 805 yards and 6 scores, which was good enough to be named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.  While it was a nice season for Latimer, he would need to put up gaudier numbers to have any realistic shot at winning this award.

While it may be difficult to get enough touches due to the depth that the Hoosiers have at receiver, it is very possible for Latimer to break the 1,000 yard barrier in 2013.  He could even put up bigger numbers if the Hoosiers have consistency under center at the quarterback position.
