Sudfeld Named to Maxwell Award Watch List

When healthy, Nate Sudfeld has proven to be one of the better quarterbacks in the nation. On Tuesday, the Maxwell Football Club announced that his play has earned him a place on the watch list for the 79th annual Maxwell Award. The Maxwell Award is given to America’s College Player of the Year and semifinalists will be announced on November 2.

Sudfeld, a native of Modesto, California, enters his senior season second in IU history in completion percentage (60.6%), tied for second in 300-yard passing games (four), fifth in passing touchdowns (34) and 10th in total offense (4,377 yards).
