The Indiana Hoosiers will be looking for a new center in 2021 as Harry Crider, who started the entire 2020 season at the position has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. Crider was a senior and had the option to return if he wanted to. He announced his decision on Twitter on Sunday.

IU Family,

Growing up in Indiana and being able to play for this university is something I dreamt of as a kid. These past four years have been a blessing and the best years of my life. Being a part of the culture that Coach Allen developed has allowed me to grow into the man I am today. There is nothing better than going to battle with my brothers and creating relationships that will last a lifetime. It has been special building the foundation in this program and having such great seasons the past two years. Being elected captain for the 2020 season is an honor I am forever thankful for.

I have decided I am ready for the next step in my life and have chosen to declare for the NFL Draft. I would not be in this position if not for the help of my family, Coach Allen, Coach Hiller, Coach Sheridan, my teammates, the strength staff, the athletic training staff, and everyone in the IU family. Thank you Hoosier Nation! #LEO

Harry Crider #57

Crider was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection in 2020 and played in 35 games with 20 starts. He will be tough to replace in 2021, but the Hoosiers could move Dylan Powell or Mike Katic to center.

Crider is the second senior to declare for the NFL Draft joining Whop Philyor. Fans can keep track of what decisions have been made on our Player Decision Tracker.
