The Indiana Hoosiers (6-1) were idle in the final week of the regular season after the annual Old Oaken Bucket Game was canceled based on a mutual decision between both IU and Purdue. Even through the Hoosiers did not play this week they moved up to number seven in the AP poll and to number seven in the Amway Coaches Poll. This is the seventh consecutive week the Hoosiers have been ranked in both polls.

The No. 7 Hoosiers are still waiting to see if they will play in the Big Ten’s Championship week. The Hoosiers have also have been ranked 12th the last three weeks in the College Football Playoff rankings. The latest ones will be released on Tuesday night. The Hoosiers saw two teams ahead of them last week fall on Saturday in No.6 Florida and No. 10 Miami.
